Richard Wiegmann Joins Visit Group as CEO to Drive the Next Phase of Growth

(GOTHENBURG, SWEDEN – 12 March) – Visit Group, the leading provider of hospitality SaaS solutions in Northern Europe, is pleased to announce the appointment of Richard Wiegmann as its new CEO, effective February 17. Wiegmann brings decades of leadership experience in travel and hospitality technology, positioning the company for its next phase of growth and innovation.

Wiegmann joins Visit Group with an extensive background spanning key executive roles in travel technology, including leadership positions at Amadeus, Sabre, Travelport, Expedia, and Dertour. With expertise in CRS, GDS, OTA, and tour operator products, he has been instrumental in driving strategy, product innovation, and M&A initiatives, having led the acquisition and integration of 19 companies in recent years.
